Even the most high-class Parisian foodies are falling head-over-heels for American food trucks that have nabbed precious real estate throughout the city.

"Young Parisians are really into the New York food scene and the California lifestyle," Jordan Feilders, owner of food truck Cantine California, told The New York Times. "We drive by the Louvre every day, and I imagine the kings and queens of France looking out the window, thinking, 'What the heck was that?'"

If you're staying at one of the many villas in France and can't live without a juicy burger, these gourmet mobile restaurants are popping up in convenient locations so you won't have to walk far. Cantine California, which parks itself in different plazas and street corners every day, offers Americanized tacos and organic beef burgers that have converted the pickiest Parisian palates.

Travelers who rent luxury villas can also fill their stomachs to the brim with fresh cut fries (word to the wise: avoid calling them French fries) and classic American coleslaw if burgers won't cut it.
